Readme: o-ft-legacy-signin

o-ft-legacy-signin is not maintained by the Origami team. This means that the Origami team will not necessarily be able to help you with support requests. The people who maintain this component may be able to offer support, but it's not guaranteed.

o-ft-legacy-signin has a support status of "dead". This means that there are no plans to fix any issues with this component, and it may stop working at any point. More information on the status of this component is available in the README. If you still rely on this component or have concerns, please contact the Origami team.

Provides basic functionality for recognising, displaying and managing a user's signed in state and allowing a user to login.

** This module provides a temporary origami-compatible interface for the legacy sign-in infrastructure of FT.com. It should generally not be used in your product, in favour of waiting for the new membership API (and a corresponding origami module) to go into production. If, however, you need to use this legacy version please contact rhys.evans@ft.com for advice on integrating into your product. **

If using the Build Service, add o-ft-legacy-signin@^0.1.8 to your script and link tags.

If using the npm package manager for a Manual Build, run npm install --save-peer "@financial-times/o-ft-legacy-signin@^0.1.8".
