Readme: o-test-component

o-test-component has a support status of "deprecated". This means that no new features will be added to this component, but security-related bugs will be fixed. We do not recommend using this component in new projects. If you still rely on this component or have concerns, please contact the Origami team.

This component is used to aid in testing the Origami tooling systems.

Usage

This project should not be used by any teams other than Origami.

Each release of this component is used to test a different scenario in the Origami services and tools.

2.2.1 introduces a Sass linting error not present in 2.0.1 or 2.1.1. Otherwise 2.0.x and 2.1.x match the corresponding patch version in the table above, up to 2.2.16. However they have a number of additional failures related to changes made since v1 of the Origami specification.

3.0.0 is a valid component the same as 2.2.9. It is used to test tooling (Origami Build Service, URL updater) which provides guidance to users regarding the migration to npm-only components, which drop support for bower. 3.0.0 represents a major release on top of the 2.0.0 major used to test npm-only components.
